Just got a slight disability increase... $123 a month to $243... it's not a whole lot but it's a bit extra. I have a year to fight for more. Also got a letter from the DAV, which is apparently $40 to join ($250 to be a lifetime member, but paid out over time)...
Gotta admit when I saw the paperwork from Waco I about had a heart attack. I've had this weird overwhelming fear that me trying to get more disability would enrage the faceless government people and I'd suddenly get NOTHING EVER and they'd in fact CHARGE me for being a disabled vet. No, it doesn't make sense, but such is my brainmeats. :P
