Will and I spent the afternoon out. Started with lunch at Fuzzy's in Denton.
Very tasty lunch that was briefly interrupted by an unscheduled phone interview for a promising sounding job for Will, and he'll hopefully have an in-person interview set up soon. :D
After lunch we turned around to see a cute little geek shop I'd spotted on our way to food called Freaks and Geeks. Adorable mostly vintage geeky stuff.
It's AWESOME. It's in a house and it just has this adorable very Denton feel. I like living where we're living but sometimes I miss the feel of Denton, you know? I dunno.
They feature local artists in the hallway of the store. If I check the store out more I might ask about that sometime. :)
We then went to the thrift store and I was able to find some smaller jeans that fit (two pair, score!) and some skirts and things, all very cheap.
Considered hitting up a second thrift store but didn't want to overdo it. Instead we went grocery shopping.
Got lunches for this week, cat litter, also grabbed some hair dye since my roots are annoying me, Will got a few things... it was productive.
Now we're home and I'm resting and we're watching some TV. We'll have dinner soon, tamales and rice. Not gonna stay up too late tonight, my awkward sleep last night has left me exhausted today (which translates to bouts of ridiculous energy followed by wanting to nap for two hours with very little in-between... I've hit my "second wind" about 36 times since I got up)
Tomorrow Will's gonna do his car stuff and I'll probably stay in and get some art done.
