I think one thing I'm looking forward to about weight loss is seeing the "friends" (primarily male) that turned cold when I got fat suddenly start acting friendly to me once I'm "hot" again. I look forward to knowing for certain who those fuckers are and laughing in their faces.

Eh, the ones I'm thinking of pretty literally haven't even talked to me since I got fat. I've tried and since given up. I do not want their attention, and knowing in retrospect that they only acted like a friend because I was young and thin is pretty angering. And I've lost friends in that same timeline for other reasons, shit happens and I get that. Not EVERYONE left just because of my weight, that's just silly. It's a very small handful of people that I think were the shallow nitwits... and I'll happily reject their "friendship" the second they offer it again if I know they're only doing it because I fit within their weight requirements again. So yeah, again, I know sometimes people drift apart and that happens. I'm not talking about them, honestly. The ones I'm talking about I had no interest in even when they WERE being "friends".
