Word to that. I had endometrious kick in at 15, and was in agony quite a bit of the time. Birth control did indeed knock the symptoms back hella-nicely.
I know it's a clusterfuck to get in to your doctors because of the VA stuff, but you might want to insist on a full gyno review. There's some new treatments for PCOS and its tagalongs that may help further. My full sympathies.
