Mar. 26th, 2012 10:33 pmBills paid, bank account frowned at. Laundry done, kitchen clean, trash gathered. Heroics done, level 18 reached. Archer season 2 finished, Scrubs episodes watched for the 7th time or so. Productive day all in all, I think.
Tonight Will and I went out on a date to the Movie Tavern... I enjoyed a lovely burger and Will had tiny pulled pork sandwich things. We watched The Hunger Games (... irony? or... what?) and I quite enjoyed it. I've read the book, he hasn't... so I knew how much they played down the violence and messier details. I was glad they did, though - it provided a good balance and I think if all the details were filmed it'd end up unwatchable. Rue was adorable. Cinna was my favorite, though, just barely. Snow wasn't as severe-looking as I expected... if I didn't know he was an evil sonofabitch he could be some one's sweet old grandpa, haha. :P But yeah. Still a good movie. And YES, for fucks sake, "it's just like Battle Royale/other similar series or book or something"... I know. I can enjoy premises that have been explored before. :P
Anyway.
Tomorrow I think I'll focus on art and award myself with some SWTOR time afterwards. A two finished commission minimum goal, three if my body can handle it. This week is trying to get me down in a few ways but I plan on kicking its ass. edit or maybe call dad and ask for a ride to the post office... they have a package they can't fit in the mailbox and they're getting bitchy about it so I need to go get it. I'd also like to maybe stop by Old Navy, I need some affordable undershirts. I need to stop typoing that as "undershits", eventually I won't catch it in time
