Jul. 16th, 2013 12:37 pmI was told by a religious leader once that I was sinful/full of sin because I started my period too young. Because I clearly had a lot to do with that decision. But as stupid as his statement was, it screwed with my head for YEARS.
No reason to share this, just remembered it and chuckled a bit. I can laugh about it now but it was a shitty few years.
(Even better? The REASON he said I was full of sin for this… was because of red meat. Apparently children-with-uteruses eating too much meat is bad… no uterus? eat whatever you want)
