I feel so weird being called "cute". I know most people mean well with that compliment so I don't shut it down every time, but there's been a few that get me growly. Because there's a massive difference in calling some one cute in an visually-appealing sense and calling some one cute in a "aww well aren't you adorable *head pat*" and I DO NOT LIKE being condescended to.

Bleh. I know "cute" isn't always meant to be insulting. But goddamn it's hard to remember that sometimes. Hell Will used to playfully pat me on the head and say "it's okay, you're cute" and I had to put my foot down and forbid that. Because it seriously pissed me off, lol
