Apr. 13th, 2014 06:32 pm( Beautiful, rainy, perfect, cleansing day )
Thankfully all the energy I've been deprived of since Friday all came back at once. I woke up early and unprompted, got myself ready with enough time to spare for coffee and sketching, and we took off to Faire.
It was raining throughout most of our time there and... omg, it was gorgeous. A lot of people left, even more never bothered to show. It was quiet, no big crowds. Roq and I met up with Jamie and Josh and had an amazing day. Food, drinks, awesome clothes, music... all in the rain, wet and happy. It was relatively warm, maybe 70ish, so the rain was welcome.
The MUD! OMG the mud. That photo up there was taken right before my feet got REALLY muddy. Honestly I think the mud makes things fun... except for the scooter problem. Turns out a heavy little vehicle can get stuck fairly easily around some of the deeper mud xD So I was a bit limited on where I could go, but it was relatively easy to navigate and I only got stuck a small handful of times.
So, yeah, home now. I still feel energetic. The rain followed by the cool breeze and small amount of sun was exactly what I needed. I'm sure I'll come down off the high soon enough and want nothing more than sleep for two days, but I'm enjoying this while I can. :)
