So I think during the injection the needle accidentally punctured a tendon which has been the source of most of the post-procedure pain. Today I'm feeling much better and it seems the actual joint pain IS lessening significantly. Which... they said if that happens I might be available for surgery to fix that particular issue. It's scary and exciting and surreal all at once.
