If one more person (especially some one who's pretty much just a stranger) asks me about Locks of Love I'm going to punch something. Worse is when I tell them, no, I'm not growing it out just to cut it, they get an attitude with me... like I hate cancer patients or something. Even friends get an attitude with me. Like I'm some asshole because I keep my long hair.

It's my fucking hair. Them turning it into a wig isn't going to CURE the cancer these people are going through. If it did that'd be a different story. And I don't think there's much of a wig shortage out there that I'm doing some sort of grievous disservice.

And yes some friends sarcastically give me grief over not donating my hair but goddammit I get this shit enough. I'm tired of it.

i got that when i whacked mine for Boot. the fact i gave my braid to a friend an not to Locks (which is not the best place to actually donate to anyway, look it up), got some people's underwear all twisted.

both me and my brother have long hair. he hasn't done anything more than MINOR trims since 99. I haven't cut mine since 06 (when the sides were shaved)

A friend of mine has long hair. I mean, measured in feet. I keep needling him to cut it. Not to donate to Locks, though that's a worthy endeveor, but rather simply because multiple female friends (including a mutual ex) have threatened to beat him if he cuts his hair. I think it would be hilarious. Mostly because they'd be mad at him and not me.

So basically, I'm pushing for a haircut not for social service or duty to the communuity, but for what essentially amounts to real life trolling.

As someone who would give anything for her hair to grow past her mid back, I say fuck that noise! Plus, Angela WAS growing her hair out for locks of love until she found out how shady they are.
