If one more person (especially some one who's pretty much just a stranger) asks me about Locks of Love I'm going to punch something. Worse is when I tell them, no, I'm not growing it out just to cut it, they get an attitude with me... like I hate cancer patients or something. Even friends get an attitude with me. Like I'm some asshole because I keep my long hair.
It's my fucking hair. Them turning it into a wig isn't going to CURE the cancer these people are going through. If it did that'd be a different story. And I don't think there's much of a wig shortage out there that I'm doing some sort of grievous disservice.
And yes some friends sarcastically give me grief over not donating my hair but goddammit I get this shit enough. I'm tired of it.
Apparently this makes me the Worst Person Ever(tm)

Date: 2011-07-28 06:34 am (UTC)A friend of mine has long hair. I mean, measured in feet. I keep needling him to cut it. Not to donate to Locks, though that's a worthy endeveor, but rather simply because multiple female friends (including a mutual ex) have threatened to beat him if he cuts his hair. I think it would be hilarious. Mostly because they'd be mad at him and not me.
So basically, I'm pushing for a haircut not for social service or duty to the communuity, but for what essentially amounts to real life trolling.
